This is sweet, if potentially awkward down the line when he eventually runs into one such painting where the model is in the nude, while in public....seeing as practically all the women in Waterhouse's paintings have the same face. I remember when I was 8 months pregnant trying to get my 2 yr old son to wait for holiday pictures. Ugh. Today another mom blessed me by coming to special needs story time. I was ready to give up, especially since it's so hard to get there when we have only one car. It was the two of us with four boys, and they had fun RUNNING during story time. Now that's not your typical story time. :) And the Southgate librarians didn't come in and tell them to stop running. They are awesome! What a beautiful story! My son is now 18 and a junior in high school but still reads at a 4th grade level and his comprehension is about at a kindergarten/1st grade level. His communication is pretty much unintelligible to the average listener (so one of the first apps we will be getting will be an augmentative communication app. After that one I'm looking at apps that help him understand counting/using money (both coins and bills), ones that help with the W questions and one that helps with comprehension. -- If I win you choose which one is most appropriate!
